Brew Keeper is for Aeropress coffee aficionados to create, store, adapt, share and brew their favorite recipes. It is the result of a 3 week final project for The Iron Yard. As part of a team of four, I helped build this single page app from conceptualiztion to production to demo. We self-organized our team. We created user stories, defined an MVP, planned the control flow, sketched out wireframes, and used Trello to plan each of the four sprints. We gathered for daily standups and at the end of each sprint for a retrospective.Tech Used: AngularJS, Sass, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.
Chessboard is an Iron Yard assignment utilizing MVC to play out the famous Catalan Opening one step at a time or automatically by creating a model of the chessboard and updating the model and the view in the controller all using JavaScript. Tech Used: TDD(Mocha/Chai), Sass, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.
Slideout Menu demonstrates responsive design as the navigation switches from a bar across the top to an accordion style dropdown menu in tablet and mobile. This design uses the format from Tympanus' Blueprints. Tech Used: Sass, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.
Bacon Memory is a small project I made for my kids. I also created it to play with Flexbox and the API of a local fabric company Spoonflower. Bacon Memory demonstrates JavaScript being used to create a game of memory and uses flexbox to build a grid. The images are pulled from the Spoonflower API with the tag "bacon".Tech Used: AngularJS, Sass, JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.
Queenfin LLC is a financial counseling company. This WordPress site was created with a template. I was brought it to change some of the look, layout and content of the page. I also remade the logo to better fix teh needs of the client. I continue to maintain the site as the client has needs. Tech Used: Sass, CSS3, WordPress, Pixelmator, and HTML5.
